Colts winter training

Our offer to support training programmes in clubs this winter in order to help to develop and train their colts has been a resounding success. Over the last month, clubs have competed to sign up 10 members to the Trust so that they could benefit from a grant of £600 to go towards their winter training programmes. These are so important in developing the skills of youngsters right across the county and we have been delighted with the response and that so many clubs are clearly so active in making these events happen.  We just hope that we have done our little bit to make it a little easier for them.  Therefore,  we are pleased to announce that the winners are:

Abbotskerswell, Chagford, Chumleigh, Cornwood, Ivybridge, North Devon, Shaldon, Tavistock, Torquay, Whimple and South Devon.

That’s £600 of funding each, making a total of £6600 going to club cricket and development of young cricketers this winter. Wonderful news.
